Phi Iota Alpha Announces Annual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 31 Day Challenge
New York, New York -October 2013
Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Phi Iota Alpha Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign 31 Day Challenge. Throughout the month of October, our chapters, colonies and alumni around the nation will work together to raise awareness and funds through our UNICEF partnership to end the needless suffering of children and peers around the globe.
Since we officially announced UNICEF as our national philanthropy back in July of 2010, we have raised approximately $36,600 for UNICEF. Of that, $21,663.86 has gone directly to support the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. For the fourth year in a row, we have once again adopted Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF with the goal of reaching $31,000 of total money raised for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.
"The 2013-2014 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF fundraising effort of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is instrumental in achieving a day when no child dies of a preventable disease. Your hard work on behalf of the world’s children deserves our outmost appreciation – we are so thankful for your partnership! Thank you for Believing in ZERO!" said Taruna Sadhoo Manager at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
