Phi Iota Alpha wraps up Spring 2012 with five new colonies

New York, New York - May 2012
It is with great pride that the Leadership of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. welcomes our five newest colonies from three states and the District of Columbia. They are:
  1. University of Texas–Pan American
  2. New Jersey Institute of Technology
  3. St. Francis College
  4. Georgetown University
  5. Texas Tech University
These colonies have worked tirelessly over the past Spring to bring Phi Iota Alpha onto their respective campuses. Through their persistence and hard work they achieved their goal of becoming brothers of the Oldest Latino Fraternity in Existence. They have embarked on a journey of service to their campus and to the Latino community.

We would like to thank our Executive Director and the National Expansion Team  for all their hard work and dedication to these endeavors. La FamIliA truly appreciates all they have done as we continue to move forward.

Since 1931, Phi Iota Alpha has set precedents for Latino Greek leadership in the global community.  For over 80 years, Phi Iota Alpha has cultivated and inspired Latino men nationwide to become leaders of their communities across Latin America and the United States.  Open to all men, this distinguished brotherhood includes many professionals and former presidents of Latin American countries. Today Phi Iota Alpha, the Oldest Latino Fraternity in existence, continues to lead as the preeminent Latino fraternal organization with chapters throughout the United States.
